Straik

Private beta · iPhone and Apple Watch

The coach who knows your game better than you do.

Straik reads your swing, checks how your body moves, learns what you’re after, and builds your program to get there. Then it coaches you through every round.

No history needed. Apple Watch optional. Free during beta.

Straik (said strayk, rhymes with break) – Scots for a stroke.

Break 80 This season
StraikYour coach’s read

Your irons leak right, and your lead hip stops short. Fix the hip before the swing: hip work this week, aim left for now, and I’ll check the move Tuesday on the range. That’s how we break 80.

From your swing read, your assessment and your goal.

This week: hip work twice, and a range night on the same move.

It connects the dots.

Other apps each hold one piece. Straik has all of it – your rounds, your swing, your body, your sleep, your head – and watches what moves together: a miss and a short night, a blow-up and a heavy week. Then it builds your week around what matters most.

  1. Your rounds

Your long irons are leaking right.

  2. Your body

Your lead hip doesn’t finish its turn.

  3. Your week

Hip work twice, and a range night on the same move.

  4. Your next round

Your caddie aims you away from the right until it’s fixed.

One finding, moving through your week. In the app you get the patterns themselves, and your scores against your sleep, recovery and heart rate.

One coach. Three jobs.

Each one an expert. All of them the same coach, who sees everything you do, and the program is what the three of them make together.

Golf

Your swing coach

What’s off in your swing, why, and the drill to fix it, from a phone video.

Fitness

Your personal trainer

A Mobility Assessment with your camera, and a week built around your golf and your gear.

Strategy

Your caddie and mental coach

How you prepare, decide, and handle it when it goes sideways.

Your program, built from all three.

Your swing read, your Mobility Assessment and your goal, and then your rounds, your sleep and your time, rebuilt every week from what actually happened.

Talk to your coach.

A question about a round, a club, your swing read, what to practice. It answers from your whole game, your body and what you’ve told it, and looks things up when it needs to.

The same coach that calls your club on your wrist and builds your week. In the app, any time.

Shot 84. My irons were everywhere today – swing, or something else?

Straik

Mostly your body. Five of seven approach misses went right – the same move as your swing read – and your readiness was 58 after five hours of sleep. That’s when the lead hip stops short. Keep Thursday’s hip work; we’ll check it Tuesday on the range, and get a full night before Saturday; your best rounds follow one.

What do I do on the range Tuesday?

Straik

Ten balls with the 7-iron, feet together, finishing on your lead side. Then your usual set, no driver – you told me the shoulder was sore after Saturday. Film three with your phone propped up and I’ll read them before Thursday.

Your caddie, on every hole.

The real map, your own distances and misses, and a plan for the hole in your coach’s words. Then the call on your wrist.

Straik’s strategy for the 17th at Cypress Point, drawn on the satellite map: driver 254 to the left-center of the fairway, 7-iron 165 in, the water on the right found 2 times in 10.
The hole’s strategy card: driver then 7-iron, the slope, where to aim, which miss to favor, the trouble, and the coach’s read in its own words.
